How to Fix when Intuit Quickbooks Wont Print Certain Templates

We had this problem today. We took the following steps to fix it.

  1. Restart software - no fix
  2. Restart computer - no fix
  3. Create new template - no fix
  4. Tried on a different computer with same user - worked fine
  5. Tried on same computer with different user - did not work (resolved problem with a corrupted file on this computer)
  6. Un-installed software and rebooted and reinstalled software and rebooted - no fix
  7. Updated software - no fix
  8. Renamed qbprint.qbp - fix
    1. Turned Quickbooks off
    2. Located qbprint file in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Intuit
    3. Renamed file to qbprint.old
    4. Restarted Quickbooks and printed a previously unprinting template
    5. FIX
