How to Open ODT (open office odf) files in Word

Has a client sent you a file to open and the extension is odsomething like .odt and you have no programs to open it? If so - the file was likely created using Open Office and the author failed to convert/save in a friendly file type. You can always ask them to resend in a doc, or see below for handling it yourself.

Download this plugin to open odt / odf / odp / ods files in Microsoft Office

Open the file with this plugin - and then you can edit/view/save into .doc or .docx
