Small Business Server 2011 Hangs on "Applying Computer Settings" on boot

If it is possible someone has disabled IPV6 on your network adapter this can cause "applying computer settings" to make your server stick on boot.

Resolution:

1. Reboot computer into SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING
2. Rightclick NETWORK in your start menu and click properties
3. Select the link for adapter settings on the left menu
4. Right click your network adapter and select properties
5. Make sure IPV6 is checked and if not check it
6. Click OK
7. Reboot your computer into normal mode

It may take even up to two hours before your computer passes the applying computer settings after making this change but if IPV6 was unchecked and you now have it checked it should pass and eventually boot
