Text won't justify in Photoshop

I was working on an old psd today in Photoshop and could not figure out why there was no option to justify my text. Turns out I had hit enter at the end of each line to put it in the right place I wanted and just never fixed it. Once I made it one solid paragraph the justify option became available.
